Handmade Birthday Gift #2 - Barrettes

Hey, hey - here is my second handmade birthday gift for one of my daughter's friends. I used this tutorial from Amy at Angry Chicken. These are pretty simple and very cute! Every little girl needs pretty stuff for her hair right?!

Good thing this is going to a child because my stamping is pretty pitiful. I also used a heart shaped punch to create a hole to slide the barette onto the cardstock. I know this will not be noticed butI love little details.


My daughter made a little necklace for her as well using a pre-assembled bead set. I'm really enjoying making handmade gifts though I did have a major FAIL on a fabric bracelet idea I had. I'll rework it and make it a success. I missed my reform/refashion Friday working on these gifts but I do have a refashion in the works for next week. Enjoy your weekend!
