A Spelling First

My daughter spelled her first word on paper. She was so excited! Typically she says that she is going to write a letter or make a grocery list and writes non-legible letters. She reads it back to you as if it really says something. She started with this routine and I said, "Why don't you make letters you know your letters." She sits and starts to write and proudly presents her newly spelled word. Here's the conversation:

Daughter: What does this spell?
Me: Uh, POO.
Daughter: Oh. What should I add to make it spell POOP?
Me: Another P.
Daughter: Okay.
