Summer Hat in Sherbet

As I was flipping through Get Your Crochet On! Hip Hats & Cool Caps by Afya Obomu, I picked out 2 hats that I thought Little Ms. CC Hip would like - Soldier and Vizor. She wanted Vizor --I think she likes a hat that allows her hair to be free. I took her to the store to pick out yarn and we both liked this one. It reminds me of different flavors of sherbet all mixed up together, which definitely makes me reminiscence of summertime when I was young.

Project Specs
Pattern: Vizor from Get Your Crochet On! Hip Hats & Cool Caps
Yarn: 1 skein of Peaches & Creme (Elmore-Pisgah Inc.) 100% Cotton Yarn, 4 Ply Worsted Weight in Pink Lemonade
Hook Size: F (body of hat) & G (bib)
Additional Materials: Snaps & Thread

This was a very simple project. I resized the hat by making less rows ~51 rather than 55. This called for reposition of the bib as well which I frogged once to center it properly and to make a larger bib. The book has instructions on how to make a larger bib. I finished this a while ago but just put the snaps on so she could wear it. She loves the hat so I'm happy! She told me she needed some shades and then she would "Look Cool".
